Beyoncé and Jay-Z put on a rare show of affection during a shopping spree in New York City over the weekend.

The couple, who are expecting their first child together, shared a tender hug as they visited fashion boutique Intermix.

They were joined by fellow music star Kanye West, who collaborated with the 41-year-old rapper on the track, Watch the Throne

Beyoncé once again proved her flair for bold maternity wear - she wore print harem pants with a shirt and towering heels.

The 30-year-old revealed yesterday that she is due to give birth in February.

During an interview with Australia's Sunday Night, she raved about being pregnant.

'[It] already has changed my life,' she said. 'My husband and I have been together for 10 years, all of my twenties.'

'I just feel like it's time and I'm very grateful that God has blessed me with the biggest gift any human can have.'

She said the pair, whom married in 2008, decided to hold off on having children so she could focus on her careers.

'I think because I've accomplished a lot of things for myself and I really know who I am, I didn't rush into anything,' she said.

'If there's any time, right now is the time, and I'm so happy.'

While her personal life is going strong, her latest music video has come under fire.

She has been accused of 'stealing' dance moves for her Countdown clip from a leading Belgian choreographer.

Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker claims Beyoncé is guilty of plagiarism and has hit out at one of the music industry's top selling female artists.

Speaking to a Danish blog, De Keersmaeker said she had not been asked permission by Beyonce's record label to use her original work.

'I didn't know anything about this. I'm not mad, but this is plagiarism,' she said.

But on Saturday Beyoncé showed fans just what a trendsetting mother they can expect her to be as she stepped out in New York with husband Jay-Z wearing a tiny pair of leather hotpants.

The 30-year-old singer teamed the shorts with a chic rust-coloured blouse, which clung to her burgeoning bump, and a leopard-print bag with flat sandals.

It seems Beyoncé is coping well with the pregnancy, as the former Destiny's Child star looked radiant as she enjoyed her day out.

Jay-Z, who was dressed casually in a white T-shirt and jeans, also appears to be relishing the protective husband role, keeping a tight hold on his wife as they strolled along.

The pair made the most of the warm weather as they stepped out in Tribeca before grabbing some lunch at Italian restaurant Locanda Verde.

However, according to recent reports, Beyoncé's order may have baffled waiters at the taverna, because she is said to be having strange pregnancy cravings in recent weeks.

A source told The Sun: 'Usually guests sip Cristal champagne while nibbling on lobster. Instead Beyonce is having these very odd cravings.

'She's snacking on Oreo biscuits and gherkins, Bounty ice creams with hot chilli sauce and she loves dipping bananas in ketchup. For breakfast, she's been having croissants with melted Dime bars inside.'

And yesterday Beyonce's burgeoning belly was back on display as she and husband Jay-Z holidayed in Croatia.

The singer was snapped soaking up the sun and displaying her bump in a white frilly two-piece as she and her rapper other half waited for a boat on the island of Hvar.


Fresh-faced with her big bouncy curls loose around her face and shoulders, she looked like she didn't have a care in the world as she stood at the water's edge.

Under the watchful eye of a protective bodyguard, the singer, who is believed to be five months pregnant, was helped aboard a small boat which was to take her, Jay-Z and their friends back to a luxury yacht on which they have been staying.

It might look like an episode of Top Gear, but this raceway is actually the set of Jay-Z and Kanye West’s new music video for single Otis.

The rappers looked like they were having the time of their lives as they drove around in the $300,000 Maybach motor after practically destroying it to turn it into a convertible.
And of course the bevy of models in the back seat added to their excitement as they spun around the track singing the new tune.


Good cause: The rappers have announced that they are going to auction the car used in the video to raise funds for the East African drought disaster


The song is a tribute to soul icon Otis Redding and was inspired by his 1966 hit Try a Little Tenderness.

Kanye and Jay-Z’s latest video was directed by Spike Jonze, and is one of the singles from the duo’s album Watch The Throne.

As they dance around in white tops and jeans in front of the American flag, Jay-Z announces: ‘I guess I got my swagger back’.

Pop's power couple might have spend the weekend getting their expensive footwear dirty at the Glastonbury festival - but Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z were back in the more familiar surroundings of the city today.

Beyoncé, who closed the three-day music event with a storming performance on the Pyramid Stage last night, looked none the worse for her onstage exertions as she arrived for a shopping spree today at Harrods in London.

The star was getting in some last minute bits and bobs before yet another gig, this time, her official UK album launch of new LP 4 at the Shepherd's Bush Empire tonight.

The Single Ladies singer has already attracted a star-studded crowd at the event tonight, including Tinie Tempah, Adele, Alexandra Burke, Alexis Jordan, JB from JLS and Jessie J, as well as fashion royalty Tom Ford and Stella McCartney.

But as she prepared for the showcase tonight, she arrived at Harrods in Knightsbridge this afternoon in a sunny tangerine-coloured fitted dress.

Meanwhile, her rap star husband Jay-Z joined the likes of the Duke and Duchess Of Cambridge as he sat with the crowds watching Andy Murray beat Frenchman Richard Gasquet in straight sets at Wimbledon today.

The 99 Problems star was cool and casual in the oppressive London heat on what was the hottest day of the year so far in the UK, wearing a crisp military-style shirt and camouflage cropped trousers.


Game on: Jay-Z meanwhile spent his summer's day in London watching the Andy Murray match at Wimbledon - and seemed chuffed that the British No. 1 was through


He looked suitably laid back at the tournament in SW19, on what was being dubbed 'Manic Monday' for the amount of fourth round matches being held as the championship began its second week.

However, Jay is expected to be at the Empire tonight to support his wife for the official UK launch of her fourth album, called 4.

The record leaked on the internet more than a fortnight ago, but it will be the first time that Beyoncé has performed the majority of the tracks live.

She premiered a few last night at Glastonbury, including her recent single Run The World (Girls), 1+1, Best Thing I Never Had and End Of Time.
