Bye bye beard: Zac Efron trims his moustache for night out with Ashley Tisdale

Hair today, gone tomorrow: Zac Efron took his tache out for a final meal on Tuesday night before trimming if for last night's occasion


He’s been sporting a rather full moustache lately but after taking the tache out for one final meal, he trimmed the facial art for a night out with Ashley Tisdale.

The former High School Musical co-stars arrived at the VIP screening and reception for Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure last night.

Zac, 23, and Ashley, 25, headed down to Soho House in West Hollywood for the occasion, where Efron showed off a clean shaven look.

The night before the actor visited the Fig & Olive restaurant, also in West Hollywood, flaunting his fully fledged tache for one final showing.

Last night the star was supporting his close friend to celebrate her straight-to-DVD film, which will be released on April 19.

And his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens arrived at the same event too, but made sure not to be photographed with her former beau.

Zac appeared to wear an almost identical outfit to his previous night out, in the same jeans, trainers and jacket - but made sure to change his T-Shirt.

While Ashley wowed in a little white dress and silver shoes and Vanessa decided to wear all black.

The movie is a High School Musical spin off that follows Tisdale’s character Sharpay Evans’ life after her graduation.

Sharpay travels to New York where she is pursuing a Broadway career, but instead it’s her dog who lands an acting gig first.

Meanwhile, Efron has been busy filming two movies at once, New Year’s Eve as well as being the voice of an animated character in The Lorax.

The heartthrob, who split from Hudgens recently, has apparently been spotted with a mystery blonde.

According to E! he was spotted with a new lady in tow at the Roxbury club in Hollywood recently, where he requested a VIP room.

‘He had his own bottle of tequila and was cuddled up with a girl in a booth’, the source said.

But he still doesn’t seem far from Hudgen’s mind, as the actress recently said she hopes he watches her new film Sucker Punch.

Vanessa told Contactmusic: ‘I know all his friends are going to want to see the movie so hopefully he’ll get to see it with them.

‘It’s a movie that appeals to a wide audience because if you’re a guy, there are some awesome action sequences. If you’re a woman, it’s empowering and if you’re older, it’s a fantasy. It has something for everyone.’
