Cheeky: Charlie Sheen and his brother Emilio Estévez played to the cameras Friday night at a film festival in Los Angeles

Now that Charlie Sheen has gotten his act together, his family is once again sharing the stage publicly with the controversial actor.

Charlie was the picture of happiness and health Friday night in Los Angeles, as he joined brother Emilio Estevez, older brother Ramon Estevez and their father Martin Sheen at the AARP Movies for Grownups Film Festival.

Wearing a black suit, white shirt and red tie, Charlie hammed it up with Emilio on the red carpet, pulling off several cheeky poses.

Family affair: Emilio was joined by brother Ramon Estevez, father Martin Sheen and brother Charlie

The family teamed up to support Emilio and his new film The Way, which screened at the festival.

The drama stars Martin Sheen and was written, directed and produced by Emilio.

It tells the story of a father who travels to France to collect the remains of his son who was killed in a freak storm while walking 'The Way of St James,' which is a famous route to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in northwestern Spain.

The movie is dedicated to Martin's father, Francisco Estevez, a Spanish immigrant who settled in the U.S. state of Ohio and raised 10 children.

The West Wing star, whose birth name is Ramón Gerardo Antonio Estévez, adopted the stage of Martin Sheen once his acting career began to take off.

Martin married actress Janet Templeton and they had four children: Emilio, Ramon, Carlos and daughter Renee.

Picture of health: Charlie looked happy and relaxed

All have kept the Estevez name except Carlos, who goes by Charlie Sheen.

The family said very little publicly during Charlie's infamous meltdown earlier this year.

They also stayed away from Comedy Central's Roast of Charlie sheen, which aired on Monday night.

Yet they were the source of several outrageous jokes.

At one point, funny man Jeffrey Ross joked: 'Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez said they would have been here tonight, but they had a family obligation.'

Ross added: 'You make your own father ashamed that he shares the same fake name with you.'

Charlie remained good-natured as fellow celebs unleashed one shocking joke after another.
