'You've got to love yourself before you can be OK with somebody else': Jennifer Lopez opens up about her search for happiness

She is reportedly being romanced by Hollywood heartthrob Bradley Cooper.

But Jennifer Lopez claims that there are a few things that need to be done before she can jump back into another relationship.

The 42-year-old mogul talked to U.S. Glamour magazine about how she has been moving on since the end of her seven year marriage to Marc Anthony earlier this year while debuting some of her new collection for Kohls.

'I think I’ve finally learned the biggest lesson of all,' she admitted to the mag.

'You’ve got to love yourself first. You’ve got to be OK on your own before you can be OK with somebody else.'

'You’ve got to value yourself and know that you’re worth everything. And until you value yourself enough and love yourself enough to know that, you can’t really have a healthy relationship.'

Jennifer's marriage to singer Marc Anthony was announced as over in July of this year and since then the actress and singer turned designer has thrown herself into her work.

'I think to give something a chance, to really get to know somebody, you want to do it out of the public eye,' she says of starting a new relationship.

'You know the media—they want to rush everything.'

Jennifer has designed a range of clothing for American department store Kohls, which she modelled for the magazine.

'The things I liked when I was, like, 16 and in the Bronx - jeans, cut-up T-shirts - I still like. But I’ve been exposed to so much now from traveling the world and seeing couture clothes. I used all of that when I created my new line for Kohl’s,' Jennifer said of the range.

'My style has come from everything, from where I started to where I am today.'

Jennifer tried to hide her face when she was spotted enjoying some time alone with A-Team hunk Bradley earlier this month.

The pair are believed to have started dating last month, when they were spotted enjoying dinner at Per Se restaurant in New York.

Jennifer and Bradley, 37, had tried to explain the cosy meeting away by insisting it was just a professional meeting.

But Jennifer's suspicious behaviour earlier this week have sent Hollywood gossipers in overdrive.
