And now Twilight's Ashley Greene and Broadway star Reeve Carney have confirmed their romance by sharing a kiss.

The hot new couple put on the public display of affection at the Rockefeller Tree Lighting in New York, last night.

The sentimental holiday cheer clearly put the pair in the mood as they were seen cuddling and canoodling at the festivities.

Both were beaming as they watch the Big Apple kick off Christmas Manhattan style.

Ashley, 24, kept warm and cosy in a grey knitted sweater, paired with a black furry gilet and she carried a chic black coat in her hands.

Meanwhile, handsome Reeve, 28, looked dashing in a charcoal coat and knitted scarf.

Last month it was reported that the stunning brunette was seeing the star of Broadway's Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, but the couple hadn't confirmed the union up until now.

Us Magazine reported that the pair were seen dancing at PH-D at Dream Downtown in Manhattan in early October.

Ashely was said to have shimmied to LMFAO's Sexy And I Know It with the musical headliner.

Reeve, who is also a jazz guitarist, is quite the star in the making.

He once sang with Michael Jackson and is about to play late, legendary singer-songwriter Jeff Buckley in a new film.

Florida-born Ashley, who plays Alice Cullen in the hugely popular franchise, is looking for fresh inspiration as the juggernaut comes to a stop at long last.

And with his alternative interests, Reeve could be just the man to lead her to new projects.

Manhattan-born Revee was rumoured to be dating his on-stage love interest Jennifer Damiano.

But Us Magazine report that she is now out of the picture when the curtain closes.

'Ashley has always had a crush on Reeve and he finally was into it,' a source is said to have told the magazine.

Another friend is said to have added: 'Ashley has been pining after Reeve for a long time.

She's super close with Reeve's family and loves spending time with Paris, his sister, when they're both in L.A.'

Ashley certainly appears to be partial to musicians.

She has previously dated Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill and Joe Jonas.

Ashely is currently setting up a homestead in her native New York.
