It is one of those tricky conundrums - you spot some money on the street, so what do you do with it?

Selma Blair and her boyfriend Jason Bleick were making their way to breakfast this morning when they spied an American green dollar bill on the pavement.

The 39-year-old actress and the handsome fashion designer appeared to be on an empty sidewalk, and after seemingly scanning the surroundings for the rightful owner, Bleick decided to pick it up.


The lucky lad smiled as his girlfriend gave him a round of applause.

The couple then went on their way, no doubt later passing the bill onto someone less fortunate.

Or perhaps Selma will make yet another donation to one of her many causes.

As always Selma looked chic in casual attire for the pair's weekend brunch date.

She slipped her slim post-pregnancy figure into a pair of denim jeans, a grey long sleeve t-shirt and knitted cardigan.

She accessorised the look with a green leather shoulder bag and some ballet flats.

Her fashionable beau also looked great in some black trousers and a leather bomber jacket.

For the last few months, the couple have been reveling in parenthood, taking their adorable four-month-old son Arthur Saint wherever they go.

But today they seemed to be taking a day off parental duties to enjoy a romantic outing for two.

This week, Selma, who has described motherhood as 'amazing', candidly revealed she is experiencing an unwanted side affect.

The Cruel Intentions actress said that she was suffering post-partum hair loss.

'This is so not glamorous, but it’s true: I need to take longer showers so that I can collect the hair that falls out and throw it away so I don’t clog the drain,' she told People magazine.

She continued: 'It just started falling out at the three-month mark. And I’m not a girl who likes extensions, so Selma’s going to be bald!'

Many new mothers experience hormonal hair loss as a result of declining estrogen levels.

It commonly begins around four months after giving birth and usually subsides by around the six month mark.

Still the actress is reveling in her new role.
