Dancing With The Stars professional Lacey Schwimmer goes for the full Barbie make-over with 'boob, nose and lip job'

By Rachel Marlowe

Before and after: Competitive dancer Lacey Schwimmer has undergone a major transformation since first apperearing on DWTS, pictured left in 2009 and, right, in August of this year

Dancing With the Stars competitive dancer Lacey Schwimmer appears to have succumbed to the pressure to transform herself into a Barbie doll since she arrived in Los Angeles three years ago.

The 23-year-old So You Think You Can Dance champion has reportedly undergone several surgical procedures including a nose job, lip enhancement and, just this summer, a breast enlargement to enhance her bust two cup sizes, from a B to a D.

With her blonde locks and perma-tan, Lacey is practically unrecognisable from the petite brunette of 2009.

Lacey, who partnered Chaz Bono, Cher's transgendered son, on this season of DWTS, recently went under the knife for a hush-hush boob job.

Having long faced criticism over her figure, Lacey, who said she was 'happy' to have an athletic build instead of a model shape, couldn't be more thrilled with her latest look US Magazine reported.

Lacey certainly seems happy with her new fuller figure as she has been at pains to flaunt it as often as possible in front of the cameras.

An insider told US: She loves the results and she's proud of her new shape.'

Tinsel town: Like many girls in Los Angeles, Lacey has found criticism of her looks difficult to cope with

Chaz Bono braved controversy to be the first transgender contestant on Dancing with the Stars, but he revealed in an interview today that it was jibes over his weight that troubled him the most.

The only child of Cher, 65 , and the late Sonny Bono, told Good Morning America: 'I was called a basketball, a penguin, an Ewok, and I just didn't appreciate it.'

Bono, who was joined by dancing partner Lacey Schwimmer, 23 , for the interview said he felt particularly attacked by Bruno Tonioli, 55 , who compared him to the flightless bird.

He said: 'If you want to critique my dancing and give me some constructive advice so I can try to improve the next time that I'm there, that would be great.

Hope Solo's partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy gets into a blazing row with Dancing With The Stars judges... but Chaz Bono still gets the lowest score of the

By Jade Watkins

Fight night: Hope Solo's partner Marksim Chmerkovskiy got into a blazing row with judge Len Goodman, following the couple's rumba to 'Seasons Of Love' from the Broadway Musical Rent

It may be the battle of the ballroom, but there a serious bout that also went down between the judges and one competing couple on Dancing With The Stars, last night.

Hope Solo's partner Marksim Chmerkovskiy got into a blazing row with judge Len Goodman following the couple's Rumba to 'Seasons Of Love' from the Broadway Musical Rent.

The 31-year-old Russian lost his nerve with the 67-year-old veteran dancer-turned-judge after he dubbed the pair's performance as 'the worst of the whole season'.

'Hope, I've never lost faith in you,' Len said to Hope. 'I always feel like there is so much there, and for some reason it hasn't come out.'

Following the criticism, Maksim seemingly lost his cool and couldn't hold back.

'As long as the audience likes our journey, we’re good,' he pronounced, looking to the crowd and encouraging their cheers.

Furious: Judge Len Goodman had the look of fury in his eye as he argued back and forth with Maksim

The retort ended up in a back and forth between the two men.

'Let me tell you, Maks, the audience likes the effect,' Len said. 'I’ve been in this business for nearly 50 years.'

'Maybe it’s time to go,' Maks barked back.

Shake-up: All three judges were sent into a tail spin following the outburst

The outburst motivated furious fellow judge Carrie Ann Inaba to interject.

'Don’t be disrespectful like that,' she yelled at Maksim.

But the dancer could not be silenced, and even after Bruno Tonioli attempted to calm the situation, he continued his wrath.

Argumentative: Maksim couldn't be stopped as Hope appeared awkward

Not up to par: Hope and Maksim have continuously been criticized for their performances

'Everybody on that balcony has been dying and killing themselves only to hear your guy's a little judgmental comments,' he said.

'I am not being disrespectful, I’m protecting my partner'.

Following the argument, Maksim continued his protests to host Brooke Burke.
'With all due respect, this is my show,' he said. 'I help make it what it is.'

'I love every aspect of it, I love every professional that’s ever been here and I love every celebrity that puts effort into every week.

On the bottom: Chaz Bono and his partner Lacey Schwimmer were given the lowest points of the night after they failed to wow with their tango to theme song from Phantom Of The Opera

Looking to the gods? Chaz put on a dramatic display throwing his arms up at the end of the dance

'Having said that, I’m a little tired that we’re being judged, some on effort and some being picked on, on heel leads!'

In the end the couple scored a paltry 20 points for their performance.

But surprisingly they weren't the couple with the lowest score.

It was Chaz Bono and his partner Lacey Schwimmer who were given the lowest points of the night, with just 19.

Not the right fit: Some of the judges thought the transsexual contestant looked out of place

After a successful samba which kept him in the competition last week, the 41-year-old failed to wow with his tango to theme song from Phantom Of The Opera.

Cheered on by girlfriend Jenny Elia from the crowd, the author and activist emerged on the floor in the famous white mask and tuxedo combination.

But the judges thought the transsexual contestant looked out of place.

'This character didn't fit you,' noted Bruno.

All hips: Rob performed the Cha Cha on the arm of Cheryl Burke to 'Walk Like A Man'

'At week 6, I want to see a little more content,' Carrie Ann added.

Rob Kardashian was looking to be the dark horse of the show after his impressive performance last week.

And tonight the 24-year-old reality star was hoping to go one step better.

To add even more motivation, Rob was cheered on by his family members from the audience.

Cheers: Rob's sisters Khloe and Kim cheered him on from the audience

Support: Brother-in-law Lamar Odom, Khloe, Kim and husband Kris Humphries, older sister Kourtney and mother Kris Jenner all clapped the youngest Kardashian on

Sister Kim and her husband Kris Humphries, who recently finished filming Kourtney And Kim Take New York in the Big Apple, stood in the crowd alongside Kim's older sister Kourtney, little sister Khloe and her husband Lamar Odom, and mother Kris Jenner.

Earlier in the week, the 55-year-old matriarch of the famous clan visited her son at practice for some encouragement.

She told him to 'vibrate' and stop playing the nice guy.

Words of wisdom? Earlier in the week, the 55-year-old matriarch of the famous clan visited her son at practice to give him some advice

'It's time to kick some ass and not be nice anymore,' she said.

But her enthusiasm didn't appear to do much good, as Rob came under fire for his Cha Cha on the arm of Cheryl Burke to 'Walk Like A Man'.

He especially couldn't escape the wrath of Len, who told him that while 'It was clean, precise and had good timing,' there was no rhythm.

Crowd pleaser: Nancy Grace interjected more of her fiery and bubbly personality into her foxtrot with partner Tristan McManus to 'Always Look On The Brightside Of Life' from Monty Python, and it paid off

Tears: Nancy shed some tears after being praised for her performance

The couple ended up with a low score of just 22 points.

Nancy Grace interjected more of her fiery and bubbly personality into her foxtrot with partner Tristan McManus to 'Always Look On The Brightside Of Life' from Monty Python, and it paid off.

'It's Nancy dance-a-lot... You captured the feel of the musical,' said Bruno.

'I would call that a show stopper! It was very, very good,' gushed Carrie.

The pair were rewarded with their highest score yet of 24 points.

High octane: David Arquette was thrilled to do Broadway this week, and eager to throw out a whole lot of jazz hands for his quickstep to 'We Go Together' from the musical Grease with partner Kym Johnson

Boost: David was cheered on by his estranged wife Courteney Cox and their seven-year-old daughter Coco

David Arquette was thrilled to do Broadway this week, and equally eager to throw out a whole lot of jazz hands for his quickstep to 'We Go Together' from the musical Grease.

Over enthusiastic, he gave a high energy round on the dancefloor with partner Kym Johnson, but the judges thought he his timing was a little off.

While Carrie Ann told the Scream actor he did a great job, she said he was 'a little out-of-sync'.

Smiles: David clearly had a great time on the dancefloor

Analysis: But the judges thought he his timing was a little off

'You are so charged up, you are like a live wire and you went to the wrong foot,' Bruno added.

The couple scored 23 out of 30.

Ricki Lake and partner Derek Hough also did the quickstep, but chose the show tune 'Luck Be A Lady Tonight' from Guys And Dolls.

All three judges thought the interpretation of the music through the dance was sensational.

'You don't need luck if you have talent, and you have talent,' said Len. 'I loved it, I thought it was fantastic.'

Jazzy: Ricki Lake and partner Derek Hough also did the quickstep but chose the show tune 'Luck Be A Lady Tonight' from Guys And Dolls

Acclaim: All three judges thought the interpretation of the music was sensational

Following the performance host Brooke Burke complimented the 43-year-old former talk show host on her shrinking figure, asking her how much weight she thought she had lost.

'Probably around 20 pounds I guess,' Ricki revealed.

The couple scored a whopping a 29 out of 30.

J.R Martinez and Karina Smirnoff once again wowed the crowd with their quickstep, only to tie with Ricki and Derek score.

Tie: J.R Martinez and Karina Smirnoff once again wowed the crowd with their quickstep, only to tie with Ricki and Derek after also scoring a 29

'You are truly relentless, you just keep on keeping on,' said Len.'Tonight you have really come up a notch.'

Following the individual performance, all of the couples took to the floor again for a group dance to a medley of show tunes, including 'Big Spender' from Sweet Charity and 'Money' from Cabaret.

Tony and Emmy-award winning singer Kristin Chenoweth also performed on the night.

JR Martinez gets longest standing ovation ever on Dancing with the Stars as poignant tribute to war heroes reduces judges to tears

By Amelia Proud

Not a dry eye in the house: J.R Martinez moves everyone at the studio with his performance

Everyone has a story, and tonight the Dancing with the Stars hopefuls got the chance to reveal their most memorable year through music and movement.

And there wasn't a dry eye in the house when Iraq war veteran J.R. Martinez revealed that his most memorable year was when he was seriously wounded and scarred.

Since the first week of the competition, Martinez has proved himself one of the ones to watch with strong performances and a natural flair for fluid movement - and his heart-wrenching routine tonight only cemented this, with only Len adding a note of criticism about J.R's use of his arms.

'The thing is, we have to speak to justify our marks. For me, it could have been a little bit more musical through the arms, so ... J.R., you understand,' he said.

Heart-wrenching: The All My Children star brings the audience to its collective feet for the longest time in the history of the series

Frontrunners, again: It might not have been as moving, but Ricki's technically-adept dance finishes top with the judges

The audience felt differently and joined in a standing ovation that lasted longer than any previously. Martinez had danced to Tim McGraw's If You're Reading This, which tells the story of wives reading letters notifying them that their loved ones are never to come home.

In the audience was his guest, teenager Jenna Bullen, who suffered burns to more than 95 per cent of her body in a hot water heater accident when she was three.

Sensual: Ricki remembers the year she met the love of her life, which translated into her dance with Derek

Recent pain: David Arquette relives the 'hurt' from his marriage split as Courteney Cox watches

Proud daughter: Courteney Cox and daughter Coco watch and clap, the seven-year-old seeming incredibly proud of her father

Tribute: Rob Kardashian pays tribute to his late father by dancing to one of the attorney's favourite songs, Fly Me to the Moon

Martinez even shed a few tears himself, but Carrie Ann Inaba struggled the most.

'Heroes are normal people who do extraordinary things,' she said as she sobbed.

'Tonight you did something extraordinary.'

Martinez earned 26 points for the dance, as did Chynna Phillips, who danced to her band Wilson Phillips' smash hit, Hold On, to mark the year she battled depression and substance abuse. Two members of her trio, Carnie Wilson and Wendy Phillips watched from the audience.

That's our boy!: Ron is cheered on by his mother and sisters, as he is every week

Hold On: Chynna Phillips relives her struggles with substance abuse as she dances to her greatest hit

Martinez and Phillips saw the season’s first nine scores of the season, but Ricki Lake with the show's lucky charm, Derek Hough, blew them out of the water.

In another rumba, Lake attempted to convey the memories of 2010, the year her rented home was burned to the ground but she met the love of her life.

Though Carrie Ann Inaba didn't see the link when she announced: 'Ricki Lake, you are on fire,' there was no doubting the judge's admiration for the presenter's technical skills.

Lady in red: Kristen Cavallari looks stunning in crimson for her dance with Mark Ballas

Graceful: Nancy keeps her dress in place, but is underwhelming

Carson Kressley tangoed to celebrate the year that he launched Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and entertained the audience and judges alike. He was awarded eight and seven scores.

Even the presence of ever-loyal estranged wife, Courteney Cox and their daughter Coco, wasn't enough to rally David Arquette into a show-stopping performance, despite using his recent marriage split and car accident as inspiration.

Awkward: Chaz is popular with judges and crowd alike, but his technique is woeful

Raunchy: Hope's outfit has an 80s' quality to it, as she relives the World Cup Finals defeat

But the Kardashian clan should see Rob's respectable middle-ranking as a success after his performances in the series so far, he chose Fly Me to the Moon as a tribute to their late father.

Nancy Grace managed to avoid any wardrobe malfunctions thanks to a fitted gown and a slow routine, but her Moon River routine for her daughter was dull.

Confident: Ricki must know she has her footwork off pat as she attends rehearsals earlier

Good looking: Kristen and Rob look great as they rehearse, but didn't wow when the moment came

Hope Solo’s sporting disappointments were lost somewhat in a revealing outfit with 80s' style crimped hair lending a silliness to the talented athlete.

Chaz Bono, despite his popularity factor with the judges, performed terribly, and barely moved enough for his routine to be considered a dance, though his choice of his father Sonny's Laugh at Me was well received, especially by his teary girlfriend.

Kristin Cavallari was cheered on by former fiancé Jay Cutler as she sizzled in scarlet to secure 24 points.

Contrasting fortunes: Ricki and Chaz would end the night at the top and bottom of the judges reckoning, but were still plugging away in the afternoon

Triumph: Chaz Bono overcame controversy to come up as one of the top contenders on the arm of partner Lacey Schwimmer, during last night's much talked about premiere of Dancing Of The Stars

He has been shrouded in controversy ever since being announced as a contestant on Dancing With The Stars.

But Cher's transsexual son overcame all the contention to come up as one of the top contenders on last night's much talked about premiere of Dancing Of The Stars.

The 42-year-old wowed the judges with his moves, which were rumoured to have been uneasy during the last few weeks of rehearsals.

The judges as much as the crowd were waiting in anticipation for Chaz's arrival on the dance floor.

And of course ABC strung it out by putting the pair's performance at the very end of the show.

But the crowd clearly thought it was worth the wait.

Anticipated: The judges as much as the crowd were waiting in anticipation for Chaz and Lacey's arrival on the dance floor

Show stopper: The crowd clearly thought it was worth the wait as the couple put on a dazzling show

'I think people have been waiting all night to see you, Chaz, and you do not disappoint! You can dance! You had great footwork. You've got so much joy. You light up this room,' Carrie-Ann said.

Len thought the gay activist was having a ball and cheered the highly-criticized star on.

'You really came out with the right attitude. You came out to enjoy yourself, and that's what I felt you did,' he said 'You're so joyous out here. Great debut, Chaz. You should be proud!'

Impressive: The 42-year-old wowed the judges with his moves, which were rumored to have been uneasy during the last few weeks of rehearsals

Before the performance, Chaz revealed that he hit it off with Schwimmer on first interaction.

'I think Lacey and I have amazing chemistry. I think she brings out the kid in me which is great, because I tend to be serious,' he said.

He admitted that his physical shape was going to be a challenge in the competition with the rehearsals already taking a toll.

'Being in my 40s and overweight, it kills my body,' he said.

Going alone: Rob Kardashian said he wanted to step out of the shadows of his famous sisters and did so on the arm of Cheryl Burke for their Viennese Waltz

Moral support: Kim, along with her sisters Kourtney, and Khloe and husband Lamar, came out to support the 24-year-old, cheering him on from the crowd

Kim Kardashian would know just how nervous her brother Rob was likely to be ahead of his big Dancing With The Stars debut after starring in the show in 2008.

The 30-year-old reality star, along with sisters Kourtney and Khloe and Khloe's husband Lamar, came out to support the 24-year-old, cheering him on from the crowd.

Before his turn on the dance floor to do the Viennese Waltz, Rob said he was excited and determined to show that he could be a stand-out star from his famous sisters.

'I want to boost my confidence and step out of the shadow of my sisters,' he admitted.

Rob looked dapper during his dance in a black tuxedo, while partner Cheryl Burke was almost futuristic in her cream and gold sequined gown.

But despite their good looks, Bruno thought Rob's performance was racked with nerves.

Steamy: Italian model and actress Elisabetta Canalis started her routine by waking up in a giant bed

Bed buddy: The 33-year-old was in the bed alongside handsome partner Val Chmerkovskiy

'I know she's a tough mistress, but ... let her go. You have to take control. You've got to relax,' Bruno told him.

After yelling out from the audience that Bruno should clean his ears out with some
Q-tips, sister Khloe got some more positive feedback about her brother from Carrie-Ann.

'When I watch you, I see potential,' Carrie-Ann said. 'You did everything Cheryl told you ... but it's all there. The posture, the lines, the debonair. Yeah. You clean up nice!'

The pair however scored one of the lower scores of the night with 16/30.

Let down: Elisabetta, who is no stranger to a spin on the dance floor surprisingly failed to impress on the dancefloor on the arm of Maksim's younger brother

With a body of sin which helped captured the heart of her ex-George Clooney, whom she dated for two years, Elisabetta Canalis was touted as an early contender.

But the stunning 33-year-old, who is no stranger to a a spin on the dance floor, surprisingly failed to impress on the arm of Maksim's younger brother, Val Chmerkovskiy.

Despite slipping into a revealing sparkling red ensemble and waking up in bed with Val, her performance was met with criticism.

'It got very brittle. You lost confidence, and it all became too weak,' Len told her.

Crowd pleaser: With his estranged wife Courteney Cox and their daughter Coco cheering him on the crowd, David Arquette was an overall crowd-pleaser in his rendition of the Viennese Waltz

Rather than being analytical, Carrie offered the sexy foreigner some sage advice.

'You have to channel the model in you ... and you have to do it with the music,' she said.

With estranged wife Courteney Cox and their daughter Coco cheering him on the crowd, David Arquette was an overall crowd-pleaser in his rendition of the Viennese Waltz.

'Look there's daddy! Little Coco was thrilled to see her father on the dance floor

But the 40-year-old Scream star was a little nervous about being in the ball room, which was picked up by Carrie-Ann.

'All you need to do is relax a little,' she advise.

Bruno was however blown away by actor: 'There was no superficial start or messing about. You came straight out into the dance, and I was very, very impressed,' he said.

Muscular: LA Lakers star Ron Artest bared his rippling basketballer torso for his Cha Cha with stunning Australia dance partner, Peta Murgatroyd

LA Lakers star Ron Artest bared his rippling basketballer torso for his Cha Cha with stunning Australia dance partner, Peta Murgatroyd.

Sporting his signature shaved and dyed hair-do, the 31-year-old six foot seven NBA player got up close and personal in a sexy sway with the tanned and scantily clad professional dancer.

But right off the bat, Len Goodman was critical of his performance.

Look at me now! From The Hills to the dance floor, reality star Kristin Cavallari said she was 'keen to show the real me' from how she was portrayed in her former reality shows alongside partner Mark Ballas

'Your footwork was atrocious. It was all sizzle, no sausage. It was ... not my cup of tea,' he said.

With boos erupting from the audience, Bruno comments were met with much more welcome arms.

'Ron, the dancer drone has landed! You have power. You have presence. So go for it, Dancer-Tron!' he exclaimed.

Grace: She has the voice of an angel, but Chynna Phillips was out to prove she had the grace of gazelle and succeeded with her Viennese waltz with Tony Dovolani

The judges gave the pair a 17/20.

From The Hills to the dance floor, reality star Kristin Cavallari said she was 'keen to show the real me' from how she was portrayed in her former reality shows, alongside partner Mark Ballas.

'I am Kristin Cavallari and I am not a bitch,' she asserted in her introduction.

The 24-year-old also touched on her painful split with NFL player Jay Cutler, who broke off their engagement earlier this year.

'I was just recently engaged and we broke up, so I am hoping this show will be a big breath of fresh air for me.,' she said.

After her highly-charged Cha Cha, Kristin in fact blew judge Carrie-Ann away with her sensationally toned body and liveliness.

Moves: Ricki Lake with partner Derek Hough and Carson Kressly with Anna Trebunskaya both did well in the show's premiere

'You have the body to ballroom dance, girlfriend! You looked great,' Carrie complemented.

'I want to watch you dance more and more. You shine. You sparkle. It was a very good cha-cha, and it's hard to keep up with Mark. He gives you very challenging choreography, and you have to keep up with him.'

Bruno was particularly hung up on Kristin's 'hotness', which he said she needed to use to her full potential: 'You know I love a bad girl; a bad girl with hot hips. I know you've got the full package to give that action,' he exclaimed.

She has the voice of an angel, but Chynna Phillips was out to prove she had the grace of gazelle with her Viennese waltz with Tony Dovolani.

And the 43-year-old Wilson Phillips star didn't fail to impress with the pair getting one of the highest scores of the night with a 22 out of 30.

'It wasn't the best first dance I've ever seen, but I'll tell you what: It was close!' Len said.

Not so confident after all: She is the controversial TV Journalist who is not afraid to say what she thinks, but judges thought that Nancy Grace was surprisingly lacking confidence on tonight's show

The blonde beauty, who is married to Billy Baldwin, also mesmerized Bruno, with her moves.

'Chynna, you looked like you were stepping out of a dream and into my heart. You've got the talent and you can do it!'he said.

Controversial TV Journalist Nancy Grace was surprisingly lacking confidence on tonight's show.

'Nancy, I had no idea you were so lavishly gifted. You've got the moves, but you don't seem to believe in yourself. You have it,' Bruno said.

But Carrie-Ann disagreed, saying she thought the 51-year-old HLN host looked at home on the dance floor.

Sensational: Going head-to-head with his younger brother Val, Kirstie Alley's former partner Maksim on the other-hand helped Hope Solo blow away the crowd with their Viennese Waltz

'I think you might be the happiest contestant I've ever seen out there dancing. You have to remember your choreography.'

Going head-to-head with his younger brother Val, Kirstie Alley's former partner Maksim on the otherhand helped Hope Solo blow away the crowd with their Viennese Waltz.

The soccer star wowed judges with her first dance, also getting one of the top scores of the night with a 21/30.

The forever peppy and chirpy one from Queer Eye For The Straight Guy, Carson Kreesly was no different, as he did the Cha Cha with the stunning partner Anna Trebunskaya.

'That was my favorite dance of the night by far! You are something else. I cannot get over all of the sparkles,' exclaimed Carrie-Ann.

Surprise performance: Another big surprise of the night was the grace action hero J.R. Martinez possessed whilst doing his Viennese Waltz with partner Karina Smirnoff

Another big surprise of the night was the grace action hero J.R. Martinez possessed whilst doing his Viennese Waltz with partner Karina Smirnoff.

The couple tied with Chynna and Tony with a 22 out of 30, with all three judges critically acclaiming the movie star.

Equally impressive was Ricki Lake who snagged Cheryl Cole's former lover Derek Hough as her partner for the season.

The judges thought the 42-year-old and the 26-year-old both had incredible harmony.

'There was great chemistry. Another great Viennese waltz!' Bruno exclaimed.

'It was like you were part of one person. It was beautiful. Very, very nice,': Carrie-Ann also gushed.

Tomorrow night before the results show, the couple reflect on their performances and revealed more about their lives as part of a two-hour special.
