Her third marriage collapsed after claims emerged Ashton Kutcher had cheated on her.

But while the Two and A Half men star appears to be moving on, having been spotted with Lorene Scafaria recently, Demi Moore has made a frank confession – she fears she isn’t worthy of being loved.

The 49-year-old actress made the startling statement to her friend Amanda de Cadenet during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine.

In the February issue of the US magazine Demi revealed she originally feared being abandoned but said her biggest fear now is ‘not having the courage to reach her full potential’.

She explained: ‘There is no way to reach your fullest potential if you don’t really find the love of yourself.’

Demi added: ‘What scares me is that I’m going to ultimately find out at the end of my life that I’m really not lovable, that I’m not worthy of being love. That there’s something fundamentally wrong with me.’

As well as speaking out about her anxieties, Moore also opened up about her body image, which has been the subject of much speculation following her split from Kutcher.

The mother-of-three admitted to having a ‘love-hate relationship’ with her body but said she had a more positive feeling towards it now compared to her feelings in the past.

She said: ‘I sit today in a place of greater acceptance of my body and that includes not just my weight but all of the things that come with your changing body as you as age to now experiencing my body as extremely thin.’

Demi added: ‘Thin in a way that I never imagined somebody would be saying to me, “You’re too thin, and you don’t look good.”’

The interview comes ahead of Demi and Amanda's latest project, a television show called The Conversation which, comes to Lifetime television this Spring.

A-List stars including Gwyneth Paltrow, Lady Gaga and Jane Fonda are among the women who have spoken out about the challenges they face in their daily lives, with Moore and de Cadenet acting as executive producers.

The British photographer and former actress explained: ‘The idea came about because I found myself asking all these questions that I couldn't find answers to.

Following her recent split from Kutcher, Demi appears to be throwing herself into her work and it has been reported that she is appearing in the upcoming movie Lovelace.

Moore is said to be taking on the role of feminist Gloria Steinem according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Demi filed for divorce from husband of six-years Ashton Kutcher in November in the wake of claims he bedded Sara Leal on the weekend of their wedding anniversary.

Ashton has been linked to screenwriter Lorene Scafaria and the pair enjoyed spending Christmas together in Italy.

The pair met while Kutcher tried out for a film she wrote and a source has told Us Weekly : ‘Ashton started seeing her while each was in a relationship.’

Prior to her relationship with Ashton, Demi was married to actor Bruce Willis for 13 years.

When she was 18-years-old Demi married singer Freddy Moore but the marriage ended in 1984, three years before she met Willis.

He was spotted chatting to a brunette woman - who looked like a young Demi Moore - over a glass of wine and a cigarette inside a city building.

On November 17, Demi announced that she was filing for divorce from toyboy husband Kutcher after six years of marriage.

In a statement she said: 'It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton.

'As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.'

Earlier this week, Leal came forward to admit that selling her story had ruined her life, with the fallout from being the 'other woman' causing her to lose her job and her family to stop speaking to her.

Leal said of her fling with Kutcher: 'It was insane. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. It might have seemed like I was asking for it, but I wasn’t.

'My dad wouldn’t even talk to me, and I got a lot of disturbing phone calls, even from my friends' parents.

'I got fired from my job. I am no longer friends with my best friend who was my roommate because it caused so many problems and I had to move out.

'I wasn’t working for two months, and I only just started working three weeks ago. I had no idea what I was getting myself into.'

The 33-year-old actor was seen on the set of Two And A Half Men just hours after it was revealed wife Demi Moore was filing for divorce.

Kutcher, who tweeted his sadness at the breakdown of the union, appeared strained as he was seen talking to friends and colleagues at work.


Dressed in a checked shirt and with his face unshaken and his hair long around his face the actor appeared forlorn as he was stood with a group of friends.

Later he emerged in a different outfit and was seen clutching his phone, perhaps hoping for some contact from his wife of six years.

Seeking comfort?

It has been reported that Demi is now gearing up to battle Ashton over their $290million fortune.

According to Radaronlione the actress made her decision to end their marriage weeks ago, in the wake of allegations Ashton has cheated and is now said to be speaking with her lawyers to secure a suitable settlement.

Yesterday Demi announced she is ending her six year marriage to Ashton.

The 49-year-old actress said in a statement that she is filing for divorce with 'great sadness and a heavy heart'.

Hinting at Kutcher's infidelity, Demi said: 'As a woman, a mother and a wife, there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life'.

Kutcher responded to the news by tweeting: 'How do you fire Jo Pa? #insult #noclass as a hawkeye [the University of Iowa football team] fan I find it in poor taste.'

But his remarks cause a furious backlash - forcing Kutcher to admit he didn't have the full facts when he posted the message.

He then handed the control of his Twitter feed over to his management team at Katalyst Media to 'ensure the quality of its content'.

Looking distraught and thinner than ever, Demi Moore appears with her husband Ashton Kutcher for the first time since their marital problems became public.

The couple kept their distance as they left their Los Angeles home, apparently on the way to a counselling session at the Beverly Hills centre for the Kabbalah religious group.

The 48-year-old actress’s skeletal frame caused a sensation last week when she appeared alone at a film premiere. Fears are growing that her dramatic weight loss could cause permanent damage to her health.


One report suggested that claims of 33-year-old Kutcher’s infidelity have led his wife to starve herself.

‘She’s very upset and hasn’t been eating,’ a friend told a U.S. magazine. ‘It’s taking its toll.’

The actress’s appearance has deteriorated since news of her husband’s alleged affair with 22-year-old Sara Leal broke at the end of last month.Kutcher is accused of sleeping with the Texan beauty after a hot-tub party at a hotel on the weekend of his sixth wedding anniversary. Since then, he and his wife have reportedly spent most of the time apart, he in Los Angeles and she in New York.

Sara Leal, 22, gave a candid interview where she revealed all the tawdry details about the seedy night at the Hard Rock hotel in San Diego, California, last month.

The Texas-born model claims the Two And A Half Men star wanted to have a threesome with her and her best friend Marta Borzuchowski - but in the end settled for a two-hour romp with her.

She also says that Ashton told her he was separated from wife Demi when she asked him if he was married.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Sara described how she had sex twice with the 33-year-old actor.

She said: 'We had sex twice. Everything felt natural. We were having a good time. He was good, but it wasn't weird or perverted or creepy.

In an interview with Us Weekly she added that they had unprotected sex saying Kutcher didn't use a condom during their encounter.

He's alleged to have had burning desires for another woman after a seedy one-night stand.

But in an apparent act of contrition, Ashton Kutcher is seen here attempting to rekindle the flame with wife Demi Moore.

The couple are pictured together assembled around a camp fire during a Kabbalah retreat this weekend.

The Kabbalah devotee apologised for his behaviour to his wife on Yom Kippur, the holy day of atonement for Jews, according to RadarOnline.

He allegedly asked for the chance to make amends for cheating on Demi, 48, with blonde 23-year-old Sara Leal on the morning of their sixth anniversary in September.

The couple's Kabbalah instructor Yehuda Berg and Kutcher's friend Eric Buterbaugh accompanied them in the great outdoors.

The fireside chat in Santa Barbara, California, is the first time the duo have been seen together in three months, and since news broke of Ashton had a alcohol-fuelled hot tub party awash with women.

Demi and Ashton, 33, had wanted their meeting at Cachuma Lake on Sunday to remain a secret.

But a fellow camper captured a photograph of the pair sitting around a campfire with two other companions.

The actress was wearing and a burgundy and grey hooped sweater, as well as a Kabbalah red string bracelet on her left wrist.

The red string custom is meant to bring good fortune and protect against an 'evil eye'.

The pair are being counselled by members of the faith, which is a controversial offshoot of Judaism.

The couple turned to the religion seven weeks ago and signed up to its counselling service in order to save their marriage.

The religion teaches its superstar believers difficulties and disagreements are without exception opportunities' for them to become 'that right person,' according to relationship advice posted on its website.

It adds: 'What seems to be a problem is actually a gift: a chance to remove an internal obstacle that stands between ourselves and the unlimited happiness that is our real destiny.'

Two days before their campfire heart-to-heart they attended a Kabbalah service in Los Angeles together.

Though they sat on opposite sides of the aisle, Kutcher greeted his wife with a hug after the service, and they reportedly walked out with their arms round each other.
They have also been spotted wearing their wedding rings.

But a top source close to the pair insisted the relationship is dead.
The insider said: 'The marriage is dead.

'Demi desperately wanted to save their marriage.

'But the San Diego cheating scandal is a hard one for her to stomach, as it is backed up by photos. It humiliated Demi.'

Demi Moore has consulted a divorce lawyer after the failure of a last-ditch bid to save her marriage to Ashton Kutcher.

The 48-year-old actress’s marriage hit the rocks after allegations that Kutcher cheated on her.

in a hotel at the end of September – at a time when the actor should have been preparing to celebrate his sixth wedding anniversary with Miss Moore.

Last night an entertainment industry insider said: ‘Miss Moore has been totally humiliated. On Friday, therefore, she consulted a lawyer about getting a divorce.

'The discussion included her living arrangements and how a divorce would impact her assets. She is worth about £97 million and Kutcher is also worth close to that.

‘This is a huge and very tough decision for Miss Moore to take. But her trust has been shattered.’

Miss Moore already had two broken marriages behind her – to songwriter Freddy Moore and actor Bruce Willis – when she wed Kutcher in 2005.

‘She desperately wanted to save their marriage,’ the source added. ‘But the Sara Leal story was a hard one for Kutcher to deny because it was backed up by the seedy photos of him partying.’

Miss Moore reportedly agreed to go to Kabbalah counselling sessions with Kutcher.

‘But it hasn’t worked,’ the source said. ‘She is done with him.’

Miss Moore’s publicist did not respond to a request for comment. And Kevin Marks, the lawyer who handles her acting career, refused to comment.

The stresses of revelations about her husband's alleged infidelities appear to be taking their toll on Demi Moore.

According to a recent report the actress' weight has plummeted in recent weeks, apparently dropping to just 7 stone.

The weight loss has been evident in recent pictures of the 48-year-old who appears to be far slimmer than she was a year ago.

Demi stands at 5'5", so if reports are correct and she's just 7 stone, she's well under weight for her height.

A story in Grazia magazine makes the claims, using quotes from a witness who allegedly saw Demi at a cancer fundraiser event in New York.

The source alleged: 'She looked so scarily skinny. Her hip bones were jutting out so much, you could see the outline under her dress. She made Jennifer Aniston look big.'

The magazine then quotes an apparent friend, who claims: 'She's hovering around the 7st mark at the moment.'

Jacques Du Toit, a South African yacht worker, described the sordid scene at the £2,500-a-night ‘top of the rock’ Diamond Suite at the Hard Rock Hotel, to a friend.

Du Toit told close friend Gavin Naumoff, 23 , how he hot-footed to the 1,200 sq ft suite, which features an outdoor jacuzzi, after his girlfriend told him she was attending a party in Kutcher's suite on September 23rd.

'He was concerned,' explained party promoter Naumoff to the Mail on Sunday.

'Jacques is the boyfriend of one of the girls partying with Sara that night, Alexis. He wanted to make sure she was behaving herself.'

But The Mail revealed that it was the pretty blonde from small town McAllen in Texas, who stayed behind that night, before going on to uncover the humble origins that propelled her into the seedy set-up with the married millionaire.

Naumoff recalled the scene that night as Du Toit painted it: 'Alexis told him Ashton’s room number and when he got there, a bodyguard was at the door who said it was a private party. Jacques explained he was the boyfriend of one of the girls and was let in.

‘He found Ashton in a hot tub on the balcony with Alexis, Sara, a girl called Katie and another girl called Marta. They were all naked. Ashton invited Jacques to join them in the tub.

Apparently, Ashton said, 'Yo, where’s the vodka at?' and Jacques was like, ‘'It’s over there but I’m not going to get it.' So Ashton gets out to get the vodka and that’s when Jacques saw he was butt naked.’

The alleged sexual encounter took place that night after everyone except Sara and her friend Marta had left.

‘Sara is telling everyone 100 per cent that she and Ashton had sex,’ claimed Naumoff.

‘Jacques and Alexis are two of my best friends and Sara is a good friend. If she says she slept with him then I think she’s telling the truth.’

Naumoff, who arranges for good looking girls to be shipped to certain hotspots, also told the newspaper: 'Sara’s a great girl. My job is to round up hot girls and bus them into clubs in San Diego or Vegas.

The girls get free booze, food, whatever, and they attract rich and famous guys to the clubs. It’s a two-way street. The girls get to meet rich men and the guys get what they want.’

'Which is? ‘Sex, obviously.’

Leal is yet to speak out publicly about the alleged incident but she has already retained a high powered attorney. He has so far declined to respond to any media calls about his client.

She is reportedly letting it be known that she won't 'spill the beans' on Kutcher for less than $250,000, but is hoping she will receive a similar offer from Kutcher to fade away.
