Kim Kardashian's failing marriage to Kris Humphries was laid bare once again last night in a double episode of Kourtney & Kim Take New York.

The 31-year-old reality star concedes their relationship is fraught with problems in interviews to the cameras and admits to her mother she feels more herself when she is not with him.

Kim - who filed for divorce from the New Jersey Nets star after just 72 days of marriage - is also seen rowing with Kris after he jets off to Toronto with Scott Disick without telling her to party.

Kris misses repeated texts from Kim while downing shots and drinking, leaving his wife furious and culminating in a confrontation.

The 26-year-old sports star apologises, but it seems sorry is just not going to cut it with his reality star wife.

In the second episode aired on E! last night, Kim admits to her mother Kris Jenner that things are just not turning out how she expected.

Jenner responds, saying it is not normal, recalling how she and Kim's father Rob Kardashian were 'obsessed with each other' for at least the first 10 years.

The pair also share the same big brown eyes, high cheek bones and ample bosom and both have a penchant for extremely tight dresses and towering heels.

Blasted: Animal rights group PETA have attacked Kim Kardashian for her love of fur coats in a billboard advert


Since the break-up of her short-lived marriage to basketball journeyman Kris Humphries times have been tough for Kim Kardashian.

And her declining popularity looks set to receive a further blow after animal rights group PETA launched a billboard campaign slating the star's love of fur coats.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians favourite has regularly been spotted wearing such jackets this year, despite already being chastened by the group, who named her their worst dressed person of 2010.


And in the emotive ad the group has a cute picture of two fox cubs, with the statement: 'Kim These babies miss their mother. Is she on your back.'

In addition to the adverts, he animal rights organisation has also blasted the 31-year-old on their website.

PETA Senior Vice President Lisa Lange said: 'Kim knows that animals on fur farms are beaten, electrocuted, and often skinned alive.

'We've explained it to her, and she's watched a video expose that was filmed inside fur farms.

'When Kim is ready to put an end to her relationship with fur, PETA will be happy to take her discards and donate them to the homeless.'

Ironically she turned out to support a PETA campaign poster AGAINST fur which featured her sister Khloe earlier this year.

It is the second time in recent days the Kardashians have been involved in a fashion flare-up.

It was claimed the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights had criticised the family for using Chinese sweatshop labour to produce their fashion lines.

However the group's executive director Charles Kernaghan later spoke out to say the allegations could not be proved, that he had been speaking about conditions in the country in general, and that his words had been twisted.

He did speak out again last night to say: 'If Ms. Kardashian has found a way to overcome the iron-fisted repression under which the Chinese workers are forced to toil, then that would be huge news and worthy of tremendous applause.

'But unfortunately, based on our concrete experiences investigating factories in China and elsewhere, the chances are about one in a million that Ms. Kardashian has found a way to push back against the Chinese authorities and guarantee that her employees will be afforded their most basic, internationally recognized workers' rights.'

The Mail Online contacted Kim's representative, but have yet to receive a comment.

They enjoyed a whirlwind romance getting married less than a year after they first met.

And just weeks after they became man and wife, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries agreed to try for a baby, just weeks before they split.

In tonight’s episode of Kourtney and Kim Take New York the newlyweds were seen discussing their plans to expand their family, but it soon became clear they were on very different pages.


During on conversation the couple decided to start a family and initially both Kim and Kris were excited by the prospect.

Kim explained: ‘I feel like your life really stars when you start have kids.’

She was seen asking her basketball husband how he felt about starting a family and while he initially described the conversation as ‘weird’, he soon came around to the idea.

He told Kim: ‘Alright, let’s do it. I’m excited, I really want to.’

But just minutes later the couple were faced with the realisation that their ideas of how to raise a child differed greatly.

After speaking to her mother Kris Jenner, who told Kim she wasn’t ‘prepared’ to have children, the reality star confronted her husband about where he would want to live.

As the pair’s discussion began heating up it became clear that Kim had not factored in that she might have to reduce her work commitments should she fall pregnant.

Kris told her: ‘I think you need to cut out some of that stuff,’ he added ‘I am not having a nanny spend the majority of the time with our child.’

Speaking to the camera Kim told viewers: ‘ I can’t believe Kris would be expecting me to slow down.’

Kim left the lunch convinced she needed to wait before starting a family but Kris had other ideas after speaking to Scott Disick.

The sports star was seen sitting down with Scott as he was feeding Mason and Scott told him: ‘I never thought I would love fatherhood as much as I do.’

But the more Kris became excited about the prospect of becoming a father the more Kim was against the idea.

The show was filmed when Kris and Kim were still together, but just 72 days after their nuptials, Kim filed for divorce.

Kris is now seeking an annulment and last week he gave an awkward interview on Good Morning America, where he deflected questions about his estranged wife.

Kris Humphries made for very awkward viewing today as he fumbled his way through his first television interview since his split from Kim Kardashian.

The 26-year-old NBA free agent feebly attempted to deflect questions about his personal life on Good Morning America today.

He was grilled by host Josh Elliot, who would not let up as Humphries tried to turn the conversation around to sport and charity awareness.


Sources close to the star say he is 'livid' in wake of the sit down chat - and was not expecting it to be so heavily laden with questions about his estranged wife - who split from him after just 72 days of marriage.

Kris was accompanied by his mother Debra, who held his hands at times during the chat.

He repeatedly avoided questions about his divorce from the 31-year-old reality star - only saying he was trying to 'move forward' with his life when asked if he was still in love with her.

'I'm not focused on that, right now I'm focused on basketball,' he said when asked about his proposed annulment from his short-lived marriage.

When asked by the host if it was tough for him to watch himself on the reality show - considering he already knew the ending - he said: 'The only things I watch of myself on TV are me playing basketball.

'I have never really been someone to watch the show, on TV, or anything like that.'

His mother added: 'The important thing is that we stay close as a family - it's our faith in God that carries us through all of these times.

'We have so much to be thankful for right now. We're looking forward not backward.'

TMZ reports Kris only agreed to take part in the show to plug his 'foundation' and his mother's 'cookie bake'.

But GMA sources tell the website that no ground rules were set on the line of questioning.

Kris says that he is fighting childhood obesity with his foundation: 'Life is more about giving back,' he said.

When asked if he thought his public image had taken a hit he replied: 'If people know me and they know who I am and what I stand for I think that they'll know that I love to give back, and I, you know, I'm a fun guy.

'You know I don't really play into all the gossip and things that take place, but you know, that's life.'

Although she appears to be keeping herself busy to try and take her mind off her personal issues, Kim looked miserable when she stepped outside.


The curvaceous beauty may be waving goodbye to her former beau but she seems to be clinging to her shoulder pads and black blazer.

The star has worn the staple look for months, but looked far from comfortable as she left the venue.

Despite her problems Kim refused to let the rest of her style drop and opted to wear the spiky stilettos.

But she lived to regret the decision later on when she struggled to take them off.

Split: The pair's marriage only lasted 72 days and now their break-up's turning messy


She may be making jokes and trying to act care free but the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has been dealt more woes following the end of her 72-day marriage.

Her estranged husband has decided to seek an annulment on the grounds of 'fraud'.

The 26-year-old allegedly wants the pre-nuptial contract voided in a bid to get out of the confidentiality clause that prohibits either one from discussing intimate details of the relationship to the media.

But the allegations have rocked Kim, who has been struggling since Kris filed the legal papers.

A source tells America's OK! magazine: 'When Kim saw that he was filing for fraud in the annulment, she just shook her head. She was just so mad and upset and frustrated.'

Speaking following the revelations, Kim added: 'I believe in love and the dream of having a perfect relationship, but my idea of it has changed.

'I think I need not live in a fairy tale like that. I think I maybe need to just snap out of it and be a little more realistic.'
