Talk about good timing! Brad Pitt narrowly avoids a run-in with ex Jen Aniston and her new man Justin Theroux last night

By Laura Schreffler

Awkward: Jennifer Aniston and ex-husband Brad Pitt narrowly avoided a run-in last night in LA

Brad Pitt should consider himself a lucky man given that he almost ran into ex-wife Jennifer Aniston last night.

The unfriendly exes both decided to take in a movie last night at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood.

The 47-year-old Moneyball star had taken four of his children with partner Angelina Jolie - Maddox, 10, Pax, eight, Zahara, six and Shiloh, five - to see the 2 p.m. showing of Martin Scorsese's fantasy film, Hugo.

After the film, he and his children entered the parking garage just as Aniston and new boyfriend Justin Theroux arrived for a later showing.

They missed one another by the narrow margin of five minutes.

'Justin and Jennifer skipped the popcorn and went straight in. Like five minutes later, Brad and the kids came out of the theatre, They just missed each other!' a source tells X17online.

It may have also been the first time that Brad and Jen came face-to-face since their 2005 divorce.

In lieu of recent comments Pitt made about his former wife, it's a good thing that he had a near miss.

The Academy Award nominated actor called his marriage to the Horrible Bosses star 'boring' earlier this year.

He told Parade magazine that he 'wasn't living an interesting life' and that he 'tried to make the marriage something it wasn't.'

Moving on: The 42-year-old actress is now dating her Wanderlust co-star Justin Theroux

Although he has since sworn that his comments were taken out of context, the 42-year-old actress is reportedly furious with him and disgusted by his 'rudeness.'

'They don't talk,' a source told Us Weekly of the former golden couple back in September. 'She will always think of him as a jerk.'

She has reason, given that he took up with partner Angelina Jolie almost immediately after he and Jen announced their divorce.

However, given that she's happily ensconced with boyfriend and Wanderlust co-star Justin Theroux, 40, perhaps she would have enjoyed seeing Brad and giving him more than a piece of her mind.

And being with her hunky new man would have been the perfect time to do it.

Call her chameleon! Jennifer Aniston completely morphs into her man at Saturday Night Live party in New York

By Amelia Proud

His 'n' Hers: Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux in matching black leaving the SNL party in New York last night

She is well known for morphing into her men, but Jennifer Aniston has taken this odd desire for assimilation to a new level with Justin Theroux.

The actress is now only seen in black, from head-to-toe, and strappy shoes and glamorous dresses have been replaced by boots, flats and boyish blazers flapping over tights or leggings (in black).

Last night Aniston, 42 , was also rocking a more Bohemian hair-style - unreconstructed waves - as she bowed her head and walked several paces behind her man in New York.

You'd never know to look at them, that the mini-me girlfriend behind actor and producer Theroux, 40 , is actually the big achiever,

In fact, the couple are leaving a wrap party for Saturday Night Live, where they were in attendance to support Jen's friend Ben Stiller, 45.

Aniston was even offered a regular spot on the satirical show in 1994, she took Friends instead, of course, but she hosted the show in 1997.

'I wanna be like you!': Jennifer has changed her look to resemble biker boy Justin

Aniston is rumoured to host again in February, when her next film Wanderlust - which co-stars Justin - comes back.

Here's hoping that she's had an injection of originality by then.

One thing Aniston insists she won't have by the Spring, is a baby bump.

'There's no desperation,' she told Elle magazine of persistent pregnancy speculation.

'If it's meant to be, it's meant to be. I'm at peace with whatever the plan is.'

The only way is black: Justin Theroux rarely departs from an obsidian hue

Jennifer did however make it clear she wasn't keen to discuss what everybody wants to hear about; her relationship with Theroux.

'...will you hate me if I say I don't want to talk about my relationship?' she asked.

Speculation that Jennifer could be pregnant emerged recently, with some publications reporting that the actress has been looking curvier and starting to cover up her figure up with baggier clothes and scarves and jackets.

Forget a change of clothes Jennifer? Aniston is caught in exactly the same outfit after a night out with Justin Theroux

By Laura Schreffler

Happy as a clam: Jennifer Aniston steps out in NYC this morning wearing the same outfit for the second day in a row

As one of the world's biggest showbiz stars, Jennifer Aniston has her pick of clothes from some of fashion's top designers.

Yet, the 42-year-old was photographed this morning in New York City wearing an identical outfit to the one she wore on a date with boyfriend Justin Theroux last night.

The actress sported the same army green combat trousers this morning as she wore last night while out to dinner with Justin, 40.

Although she also wore the same black purse last night, the rest of her outfit was obscured by a long black coat and a grey scarf.

This morning Aniston looked casually rumpled. She had folded the cuffs on her trousers down to cover her shoes.

Smart? To be photographed wearing the same clothes two days in a row? Not so much

Cheerful: The actress looked happy and relaxed as she ran errands in New York

Low key: The actress blended in with pedestrians in her casual but chic outfit

She seemed relaxed and happy this morning, a giant grin across her face.

Her grey scarf was still present, but she traded in her coat for a black sweater.

Underneath the sweater was a tight, wrinkled blank tank top which showed her bra straps and her hair was casually tied back in a black clip.

Smug smile: The Horrible Bosses star looks like the cat that got the cream

Still, the actress radiated happiness and the imperfections of her clothing choices seemed of little consequence.

She has seemed more comfortable in her own skin since she started dating her Wanderlust co-star in May.

The two are reportedly renting a house together in New York - she put her Beverly Hills mansion up for sale in February.

The night before: Aniston and boyfriend Justin Theroux dined at Craft in NYC

Scared already? The actress must know she's about to get caught wearing yesterday's duds

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux dress to the nines for night out (as Brad 'is read the riot act' over marriage jibes)

By Jade Watkins

Dressed to the nines: Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux looked glamorous as they stepped out this evening for a night out on the town

Lately when they've been spotted out together Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have been happy dressed down and casual.

But all that changed last night when the loved-up couple dressed to impress for an evening with a purpose.

The pair, glamorous in co-ordinated black outfits, were in New York for an art auction in aid of victims of the Haiti earthquake.

Jennifer set the tone in her favourite slimming shade of black, wearing a sexy cowl neck dress which draped perfectly of the actress' athletic body paired with some black stockings and suede knee-high boots.

Meanwhile American Pyshco star Justin retired his biker boy clothes and slipped into a dapper black blazer, white shirt, black jeans and skinny tie.

The couple later dined at New York eaterie Il Cantinori after the Artists for Haiti charity event at Christie's Auction House.

Leggy lady: The Horrible Bosses star showed off her trim legs in a short black dress, tights and black knee high boots for the date night in New York

Cute couple: The pair were seen holding hands as they strolled away from dinner at Il Cantinori in the Big Apple

In the last few weeks the couple appear to have spent every waking minute together
Their attendance at the charity event comes as it was reported that Jen's ex-husband Brad Pitt was 'read the riot act' by Team Aniston over recent comments he made about their five-year marriage.

The actor told Parade magazine that he 'wasn't living an interesting life' before meeting current partner Angelina Jolie, and that he was 'trying to pretend' that his time with Jennifer was 'something that it wasn't'.

Poker face: While Jen was seen smiling Justin kept a straight face as the pair headed home

Chic: The couple looked stylish in their colour co-ordinated outfits as they left for the charity event in New York earlier in the day

And according to Us Weekly, Jen, 'was annoyed'.

'She thought it was rude and inappropriate,' said a source.

Her agents and publicists 'went ballistic' according to a second insider, and wasted no time contacting Pitt's people.

'They got his team involved and Brad was read the riot act - the only way you can read the riot act to Brad Pitt,' the source said.

The father-of-six later released a statement claiming that his words had been misunderstood, and described his ex-wife as 'an incredibly giving, loving and hilarious woman'.

Sexy: Jennifer set the tone in her favourite monochrome shade of black, wearing a sexy cowl neck dress with soft flattering draping

Not happy: Their evening out comes as it was reported that Jen's ex-husband Brad Pitt was 'read the riot act' by her team over comments he made about their marriage

But the insider added: 'No one believes his words were taken out of context - he said what he said. I do hear that he's remorseful.'

Today Pitt went into even more damage control as he appeared on The Today Show this morning.

He told Matt Lauer of Jennifer: "She's good people. She, you know, there, there should be a statute of limitations on this.'

Pitt also shut down Lauer when the television journalist attempted to read the offending Parade magazine quotes to him.

'No, I, you know, please don't read it ... ' he pleaded.

The actor continued to allude that his quotes were taken out of context.

'I don't want to be encumbered by any of that,' he said.

'I know my intentions, and I know what I believe, and I know things get misconstrued. I live outside of, of that, and it's much healthier.'

He also admitted that perhaps he should censor himself a bit more.

'I don't wanna live on guard and I should be more on guard, I guess,' he said.
'It's always been a part of the territory. I've got a knack for stepping into sh*t. And it's OK. It's alright.'

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux put on a love parade in rainy New York (as Brad Pitt keeps back-pedalling over THOSE marriage jibes)

By Daily Mail Reporter

You can't rain on our parade! Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux enjoy a romantic stroll in New York City's West Village today

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux aren't letting anything rain on their love parade.

The couple were spotted taking a romantic stroll through New York's West Village today.

Dressed in coordinated outfits - both wore jeans, black jackets and dark glasses - they braved the bad weather for a trip to Organic Avenue health food store.

Justin kept his umbrella to himself but the former Friends star, who relied on her hat to keep dry, didn't seem to mind.

Meanwhile, Jennifer's ex husband Brad Pitt is again trying to back-pedal over the widely-criticised comments he made to with Parade last week.

At the premiere of his new film Moneyball in Oakland Coliseum last night, he was still insisting that his quotes were simply misunderstood.

'That was never my intention for it to be spun that way,' he said told People magazine.

'People read things into it that just weren't there.'

Er, shouldn't you be sharing that umbrella? Justin kept himself sheltered while Jennifer relied on her hat to keep dry

Picking up supplies: The pair stopped in at Organic Avenue to collect a few healthy snacks

Pitt gave the unflattering description of his time with his ex-wife in the explosive interview during which he said he is finally a 'satisfied man' with Angelina Jolie.

He admitted that he had 'wasn't living an interesting life' before meeting Jolie and that he spent his five years with Aniston 'trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn't.'

He went into damage control the day after the interview was released, saying: 'The point I was trying to make is not that Jen was dull, but that I was becoming dull to myself, and that, I am responsible for.'

Jennifer, perhaps too busy enjoying her new relationship, has not yet commented on the interview.

Who knew? Jennifer Aniston and Chaz Bono pictured together in unearthed high school photograph

By Daily Mail Reporter

Proving that there really is a only six degrees of separation between every Hollywood star, a new photo has emerged of Jennifer Aniston and Chaz Bono when they were teenage gal pals in school.

Both were students at the prestigious New York City High School Of Performing Arts in 1987 when transgender star Chaz was known as Chastity.

Unearthed: Chaz Bono (left) and Jennifer Aniston in a high school photograph from 1987

The school picture shows the pair of friends hanging out in a class room.

While they are both casually dressed in T-shirts, trousers and their big hair loose and long.

Aniston, now 42, went on to land string of TV parts before getting her break on the hit TV series Friends.

Bono, now 41, is one of the most highly anticipated new contestants on Dancing With the Stars, which premieres in the U.S. on Monday amidst outcry from right-wing conservative groups.

They've come a long way: The Dancing With The Stars contestant earlier this week and right, Jennifer at the Horrible Bosses premiere in June

His participation on the show is a sure sign of success after a long, difficult struggle with his sexual identity.

Born as the daughter of singers Cher and Sonny Bono, Chaz came out openly as a lesbian in 1995, and in 2008 began undergoing the social and physical transformation from female to male, which was legally completed in May 2010.

The ground-breaking star chronicled his experiences in the documentary film Becoming Chaz that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.

Romance on the red carpet: Jennifer Elia and Chaz have been engaged for the past two years and celebrated his recent success together at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards

The memoir movie was nominated for a creative Arts Emmy, which were held in Los Angeles on September 10, but it lost out to Ridley and Tony Scott's Gettysburg.

'It's been an honour to be nominated, Chaz told U.S. show Entertainment tonight from the red carpet.

'I did this to really try to help people and to come away with an award on top of it would be amazing.'

Bono attended the event with his beautiful girlfriend Jennifer Elia, who opened up on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight last May about their relationship.

When asked by the Piers whether she preferred Chaz as a man or a woman, she replied: 'I find him more attractive as a man,' said Elia, who says she is a bisexual woman, said that their intimate relationship as a now 'straight couple', has improved 'for the good.'

Chaz admitted that wedding plans had been put on hold due to various issues, most notably his transition.

'We've been engaged for two years and had to put things on hold for a little bit,' he said.

A strong advocate for gay marriage, Chaz did however reveal that they would be married as man and wife.

'Jen isn't dull, I was': Brad Pitt goes into damage control after cruel comments about married life

By Daily Mail Reporter

Backtracking: Brad Pitt insists his comments to Parade magazine about life during his marriage to Jennifer Aniston have been misunderstood

Brad Pitt says his comments about his marriage to Jennifer Aniston was have been misunderstood.

Pitt gave the unflattering description of his time with his ex-wife in an explosive interview with Parade magazine in which he said he is finally a 'satisfied man' with Angelina Jolie.

In the interview, Pitt admitted that he had 'wasn't living an interesting life' before meeting Jolie and that he spent his five years with Aniston 'trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn't.'

Now Pitt, who is promoting his new movie Moneyball says he is upset at the way his comments about Aniston have been used.

'It grieves me that this was interpreted this way,' Pitt said in a statement.
'Jen is an incredibly giving, loving, and hilarious woman who remains my friend.

'It is an important relationship I value greatly. The point I was trying to make is not that Jen was dull, but that I was becoming dull to myself, and that, I am responsible for.'

For her part, Aniston managed to put on a happy face in Manhattan last night as she stepped out with boyfriend Justin Theroux

Pitt, 47, raised more than a few eyebrows when the candid interview was released yesterday.

He told the publication: 'I spent the '90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony.

Now a 'satisfied man': Brad with Jennifer Aniston at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2004 and right, with his new and exciting love Angelina Jolie this month

'I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic.

'It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn't living an interesting life myself.'

He said: 'I think that my marriage had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn't.'

Pitt married Aniston, 41, in 2000 after dating the former Friends star in the 1990s.

They split five years later soon after he filmed Mr and Mrs Smith with Jolie, 36.

Uncensored: Pitt appears on the cover of Parade and inside describes his life in the Nineties as 'pathetic'

Since then the couple have gone on to have six children, three of whom they adopted.

Pitt continued: 'One of the greatest, smartest things I ever did was give my kids Angie as their mom. She is such a great mom. Oh, man, I’m so happy to have her.'

The comments cut rather close to the bone, considering Jennifer, 41, has made no secret of her desire to be a mother.

In contrast to his life in the 1990s, Pitt says he is now very content.

'I put much more emphasis on being a satisfied man. I’m satisfied with making true choices and finding the woman I love, Angie, and building a family that I love so much.

What comments? Aniston put on a happy face in Manhattan last night as she stepped out with boyfriend Justin Theroux

'A family is a risky venture, because the greater the love, the greater the loss. That’s the trade-off. But I’ll take it all.'

As the interview progressed, he opened up about raising his family with Angelina.

'I was surprised at how automatic it is, how much of it is instinctual. And now I have a great confidence and trust in those instincts. I mean, one sound at night and you’re awake and up because they may need you.

'Or when they start to have a tantrum, you know to divert them from spinning out by helping them focus on something. It just goes on and on. I tell them, “You can make a mess, but you’ve got to clean it up.'

Willing to dish to the press about secrets of his first marriage, the actor, who is currently filming World War Z, is far less happy when the press intrudes on his current private life.

Family ties: Brad, Angelina and their six children were recently in London while he filmed World War Z

'I mean, how many stories have you read that aren’t true, stories about me and Angie being married or fighting or splitting up? And when we don’t split up, there’s a whole new round that we’ve made up and we’re back together again!' he explained.

'We’ll get married when everyone can. We’re not splitting up. And we don’t have a seventh child yet.'

Pitt's comments were made during his promotional tour for Moneyball, which opens in the U.S. on September 23.

Jennifer Aniston puts on a brave face following ex-Brad Pitt's stinging account of their five year marriage

By MIKE LARKIN

Saluting the fans: Jennifer Aniston put on a happy face in Manhattan last night, as she stepped out with boyfriend Justin Theroux

A wise man once said if someone strikes out at you it is best to turn the other cheek.

And Jennifer Aniston seems to have taken these words of wisdom to heart, putting on a happy exterior on the day she was hit with insensitive comments by her ex-husband Brad Pitt.

The Friends actress smiled as she emerged from her Manhattan apartment with her new boyfriend Justin Theroux, last night.

The couple shared a joke as they made their way into a waiting car and headed off to the launch of clothing line Hoyle Jackson at Bloomingdale’s.

Jennifer was there to support creators of the brand and twin sisters Nina and Clare Hallworth, who have styled the actress for over 15 years.

The 42-year-old looked stunning in a trouser suit, while her beau wore dark jeans, trousers and long dark double-breasted coat.

The pair's date night comes after a no doubt difficult day for the Friends star.
