Katie Holmes isn't letting those Christmas calories get the better of her.

The actress and fitness fanatic was spotted heading off for a work-out in a bid to ward off holiday weight.

Make-up free, the 33-year-old appeared a little worn out as she hit her local gym in Beverly Hills.


The statuesque brunette dressed comfortably for her work-out regime, slipping into a pair of black leggings and a charcoal hoodie.

She also kept her toes warm in a pair of Uggs before getting under-way with her exercise.

No doubt daughter Suri has kept her mother busy over the last few days.

It is unknown if the five-year-old offspring of Holmes and her husband Tom Cruise got everything on her staggering $130,000 Christmas list.

According to In Touch Weekly magazine, the total of the gifts Suri wanted for the festive season surpassed the $100k mark.

A source told the publication: 'Her number one wish is a pony.

Even though she has everything she could ever want, Suri also asked for diamond earrings and beautiful dresses, like a fairy princess gown.

Recently 49-year-old Mission Impossible actor reportedly splashed out a whopping $5,000 so his five-year-old could go ice-skating on a recent trip to the famed New York’s Rockefeller Center.

While Tom and Suri were spotted skating with the rest of the general public, it was also said that the star hired out a VIP area, according to The New York Post.

The 'Igloo' is a completely private zone, where skaters can keep warm in between skates.

'Tom rented it for an entire session so no one else could use it,' a source told The Post.

He also purchased Express passes for the group.

And instead of tucking into refreshments from the canteen, the family, including Suri's mother and Tom's wife Katie Holmes, brought their own delicacies.

While for most five-year-olds stepping onto a slippery ice rink can be a terrifying experience, the famous Hollywood tot took to the ice like a duck to water during another ice-skating expedition in Pennsylvania.

A little bit wobbly at first, Suri was seen gliding around the slick with the help of her father Tom.

The pair were joined by Holmes who played a supporting role by closely following them.

On the ice, Suri gripped on to her father’s hands to steady herself around the rink, but looked full of confidence.

They've managed to make their trans-Atlantic relationship work for three years now.

But it appears that at Christmas time, Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart like to be in their own home towns.

English-born Robert was spotted partying with his best friend's ex-girlfriend on Christmas Eve.


The 25-year-old and actor Tom Sturridge's former love, a woman named Nettie, looked deep in conversation at The Sun Inn, near his parents home in Barnes, southwest London.

He was barely recognisable in the crowded pub, donning a baseball cap, blue shirt and jeans.

Kristen was said to be back in Los Angeles with her parents over the break.

It is the second Christmas in a row the couple have spent apart.

Last year, Rob was spotted at a different London pub while Kristen hung out in LA with her actor friend, Garrett Hedlund.

'It was genuinely, one of the deepest working experiences I've ever had. It was extraordinary.'

The movie will be released next year.

But despite being apart this year, the couple were sure to pick up gifts for each other before Rob left the U.S. for London.

He was last week spotted at LA store, TINI - which stands for This Is Not Ikea - purchasing a vintage movie poster for his girlfriend.

The framed $75 picture, for the 1965 film I, A Woman, stars Swedish actress Essy Persson, who bares a striking resemblance to Kristen.

A source told Hollywood Life: 'Rob stayed for a little over an hour picking out Christmas gifts.

'He kept asking his friend, ‘Do you think Kristen would like this? Rob’s been at TINI’s before. He seems to get a real kick out of all the unique items.'

He apparently also purchased a letter R made out of metal ($115), an antique wooden radio ($395) and a vintage Hollywood headboard for a kingsize bed ($285).

Meanwhile Kristen was spotted shopping at Rob's favorite guitar shop, Norman’s Rare Guitars, with her dad John.

She reportedly picked up a 1959 Fender Jazzmaster and 1947 K&F Lap Steel, worth $12,000.

A source told Us Weekly: 'Kristen knew what she was getting and the people at the store know Rob’s taste because he is a regular customer. So everyone was happy with the results.

'Kristen and her dad were super nice and are always very, very nice people.

The couple will apparently reunite soon, according to reports.

They are expected to spend New Year’s Eve with friends at Rob’s favorite hotel in West Hollywood, the Palihouse Holloway.

The past two years they’ve celebrated New Year’s on the Isle of Wight.

In 2007, Marc Jacobs walked onto the catwalk of his own fashion show to reveal the dramatic transformation he had made to his body.

The famed fashion designer lost weight and toned up by eating only vegan food and training two hours a day, seven days a week.

And today he showed that he's still keeping in great shape, especially at 48-years-old, by flaunting his incredibly ripped beach body as he walked along the St. Barts beach with his equally muscular ex-fiance Lorenzo Martone.


The pair each wore tiny swimming shorts, with Marc in a navy pair and Martone in a nautical red, white and blue stripe brief.

They also showed off their tattoos, including Marc's infamous playful M&M and Spongebob Squarepants inkings and Martone's classic scripture.

After their stroll, the former couple who have appeared to have perhaps rekindled their love, retired to some sun lounges on the sand.

The duo got engaged at the beginning of March 2009.

Marc attributed his incredible body transformation to an organic diet and grueling fitness regime.

In 2007, he told NY Daily News: 'I’m eating a totally organic diet, which has no flour, no sugar, no dairy and no caffeine, and I lost weight because of that diet and because of a two-hour exercise regimen seven days a week.'

As well as his slim-downed appearance the previously pale Jacobs obtained a tan and swapped his glasses for contact lenses.

'Will Smith is still an egomaniac and has not grown up!': Janet Hubert rubbishes rumours of a Fresh Prince Of Bel Air reunion

The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air cast reunion photo posted by Will Smith on his Facebook page sparked fond memories for most.

But one former cast member- notably absent from the shot- was not so happy to see the reference to that chapter of her career.

Janet Hubert - who played Will Smith's aunt Vivian in the sitcom, has rubbished rumours sparked by the picture, saying: 'There will never be a reunion ... as I will never do anything with an a**hole like Will Smith.'


She told TMZ: 'He is still an egomaniac and has not grown up. This constant reunion thing will never ever happen in my lifetime unless there is an apology, which he doesn't know the word.'

Hubert, who left the show in 1993 halfway through its six year run, has blamed Smith for her departure since, claiming she was dismissed because she refused to bow to his ego.

Smith has refuted the claims however, and told an Atlanta radio station after her departure that Hubert had a bad attitude.

It would appear that the animosity between the pair has not yet subsided.

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air which aired from 1990 until 1996, was staple for a generation of teenagers in the US and abroad.

It has been claimed that Hubert- who was replaced by Daphne Reid after three years on the show- violated her contract when she became pregnant.

A new character Nicky Banks was worked into the plot to accommodate the situation.

Hubert and Smith were reportedly at odds long before the pregnancy however.

Will, 43, said he was delighted to be able to see the rest of his second family in the run up to Christmas at a special charity event last week.

He said: 'Got the Holiday season started right with a Fresh Prince of Bel Air reunion.

'There's nothin' like spending Holidays with fam!'

A reunion picture- not including Hubert- was taken last week at a luncheon for the charity Sweet Blackberry, which was founded by Karyn Parsons, who played airhead weather girl Hilary on the show.

Other cast members present were Tatyana Ali, who played his little cousin Ashley, Alfonso Ribeiro who played his snobby cousin Carlton and James Avery, who was the Banks family patriarch Uncle Phil.

Sadly missing was Joseph Marcell, who played the Banks' butler Geoffrey, Daphne Reid who filled the role of matriarch Aunt Vivian from 1993-6.

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air followed the adventures of a fictionalised version of Will himself.

After getting into trouble with a local gang his mother decides to send him to stay with her wealthy and successful sister in the posh Bel Air area of Los Angeles.

It was notable for Will's often eccentric choices of early 90s clothing, with the rapper displaying a particular fondness for dayglo pinks.

Amazingly the future movie superstar only agreed to appear in the show as he was in massive debt problems with the IRS, owing $2.8 million after overspending on the income he earned from his then successful career as a rapper.

It became a launch pad for his hugely successful acting career, which has saw him star in box office hits such as Independence Day, Men In Black and Ali.

The 41-year-old singer is confident enough about her newly slender self to flaunt her stomach in a new advert for her weight loss system, Jenny (formerly Jenny Craig).

She appears in a black bandeau top and sultry black skirt with thigh-high slits in the advertisement.

She sings a new version of her 1991 pop hit, Make It Happen, while Jenny users announce how much weight they've lost on the programme.

Mariah, who urged her Twitter followers to watch the new commercial today, announced her role as the company's Brand Ambassador back in November.

She had gained 30 pounds after the April birth of twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe and felt pressure from the media to shed the weight quickly.


Ecstatic about her weight loss: Since giving birth to twins this April, the singer has shed 70lbs.

'I'm proud of how hard I worked to get my body back,' she said on OWN's Rosie Show. 'I had to do this for me.'

It was of course a lavish affair and now fans can get a glimpse of just how glamorous the Kardashian's annual Christmas Eve party really was.

Photographs show the famous family posing with Santa Claus, opening presents by the Christmas tree and making the most of the festive period and quality time together.

Kim, 31, looked far from miserable about her recent heartache as she glammed up for the occasion in a floor-length dress and no doubt asked the big man himself if he could just grant her a speedy divorce from Kris Humphries.

Kris also spent time mingling with her party guests which included plastic surgeon Garth Fisher and former ox Sugar Ray Leonard.

Her husband Bruce Jenner seemed happy to step away from the spotlight and is rarely seen in any of the photographs, but he does look happy in a group shot that sees the family all come together.

His teenage daughters Kendall and Kylie looked older than their years in more glamorous party dresses.

Kendall wore a rather short black fitted dress that was decorated with tiny gold studs whereas Kylie opted for a short cream dress that had a pleated skirt.

It was recently revealed that the pair have named the dogs Louis and Vuitton.

Someone who didn't look so pleased to see Father Christmas was Mason.

The toddler looked annoyed as his father Scott held him up on the bearded man's lap and appeared desperate to get back down.

Kim's brother wasn't so keen on being in front of the cameras either and only posed for a few pictures with his family.

But he wasn't the only Kardashian sibling who wasn't pictured much as someone who wasn't even there at all was Khloe.

The 27-year-old was in Dallas with her husband Lamar Odom for the opening of the NBA season as he is now playing for the Dallas Mavericks.

But the famous family made up for Khloe's absence as they were joined by various celebrity friends.

U.S. star Maria Menounos arrived at the party in a low-cut black dress that showed off her trim figure perfectly.

It's no surprise that the guests were so happy and excited because judging by the amount of treats that were available, their sugar intake was probably sky-high.
