He spent a staggering £22,000 on a hair transplant to give him a full head of luscious locks.
But now, less than four months after revealing the results of the procedure, Jason Gardiner appears to be receding once more.
The 39-year-old Dancing On Ice judge attempted to hide his thinning hair with a scarf as he dined out with a female friend on Old Compton Street.

Gardiner revealed his transplant on the Dancing On Ice final in March after keeping his head hidden under various hats and caps for the majority of the series.
He previously admitted that his baldness sparked a spiral of self-hatred and depression and said the transplant is ‘not something to be ashamed of’.
Gardiner said: ‘Because I am a public personality, if my story can help other people that are going through what I went through, then that’s great.'

He added that he is thrilled with the difference the hair transplant has made to his confidence and his life.
He said: 'It sounds vain, but I just felt incredibly unattractive. I became so obsessed with the fact I was losing my hair that I was defined by it. All I could see when I looked in the mirror was this guy who was going bald.
'Of course, baldness works for some men - like Bruce Willis, they look manly and virile. But it didn't look good on me and it got to the point where I would only go out with a flat cap on.'

The TV star, famous for his caustic remarks to contestants on the ITV show, underwent the Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) in Los Angeles.

‘The hair transplant is performed in the UK too though and costs range between £3,250 and £9,000, depending on the number of grafts need and the density of thickness wanted.’
After the operation it usually takes between five and 10 months for the new hair to become visibly fuller and in Jason’s case, he waited nine months before showing off his do.
It is not uncommon for hair transplant patients to suffer slight hair loss following the procedure.
Dr Craig Ziering, who performed Gardiner's transplant, explained: 'Shortly after the procedure, the transplanted hair shafts will fall out. The new follicles remain under the surface in a resting phase for approximately 3 to 4 months. Then the hair begins to grow at its normal rate of a quarter to a half of an inch per month.
'As a result, the hair becomes increasingly visible from 5 months to 10 months, and the appearance will continue to improve for up to 12 to 15 months. This hair will grow for a lifetime.'
